Small group meetings, that would normally take place in person, have culminated in hundreds of hours of online conversations, across geographical boundaries, between continents and countries.

These sessions have helped Solution Teams to learn and empathise, to define the issues, brainstorm the solutions, prototype them, and now, with seed funding, test and implement.

Gloria Shimuli interviews Ylli Alija, from Kosovo and Melody Quintanilla, from the Philippines, both have been taking part in the process.

Ylii is studying in the Department of Psychology at the University of Pristina and is a Youth Worker, while Melody is a graduating student of BS Home Economics from the University of the Philippines-Dilima, and is an intern.

This video formed part of the Youth-Led Solution Summit: Climate Action on Friday 23 October 2020. It is YMCA's new initiative to amplify youth solutions that positively impact local and global sustainability, the development of just and equitable communities, and the well-being of all people.
